Start Service After Signing a Lease

Starting electric service with Idaho Power is as easy as 1-2-3. To Start service, please visit Idaho Power at www.idahopower.com and follow these instructions:

1. On the home page, click the blue Start, Stop, Transfer Service button.
2. When the Start, Stop, Transfer Service page loads, click Start Residential Service.
3. Complete the form as required.
4. Under the Notify Landlord/Property Manager heading, enter the landlord or property manager's email address.

Once the form is submitted, an email is sent by Idaho Power to your landlord or property manager notifying them of your successful sign-up for service. Note: If you already have an account with Idaho Power and are transferring from one address to another, please select the transfer option. Transferring service will require you to register as an Account Manager.
